So there were more than a few things wrong with the order. I usually don't just send off robots to kill people and destory property with less than clear judicial weight. But this was slightly different, and society says it wasn't a big deal, so who was I to wonder?
Janice Englebottom was not a typical target, nor was her journal entry of coffee confections. However, Vindicator was just as capable of identifying, targeting, tracking and scheduling the execution and destruction as well as any other inmate. Actually, that should be Inmate, since it's just a label we assign, the people and things are never actually taken into custody. Usually, they don't even know what's happening and how their judgement came to be.
Karl entered the room for his shift, he always takes the later in the day, post-full-work-quota Inmates.
"Heay Joe, how's it dangling today?"
"Yo man, nothing special. They didn't fix jack, it's still wandering like a 2 dollar Vegas hooker at 9AM."
"So much for a good start to the day."
